Delivered to PIA on June 18, 1985. In 1997, aircraft named
"City of Gujrat" to celebrate Pakistan's 50 years of
independence. AP-BCC named "Quetta - Nature's
Orchard" and received Baluchistan Province tail design as
part of Pakistan province tails livery introduced by PIA in
2006. Aircraft withdrawn from use in 2008 after detection of
structural cracks and corrosion during periodic checks.
Aircraft parked at
Karachi Airport as spares source. Registration AP-BCC
removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register on July 15, 2009. Sale notice for scrap structure of AP-BCC appeared in July
25, 2010, newspaper. Broken up at Karachi Airport in 2011. |
