Additional Remarks:   Construction number 21825. Line number 383. Built in 1979. First flight July 2, 1979. Registered in Pakistan as AP-BAK for PIA. Delivered to PIA on July 26, 1979. In 1997, AP-BAK was named "City of Karachi" to celebrate Pakistan's 50 years of independence. In year 2006, AP-BAK was named "Thar - Colours of the Desert" and received Sindh Province tail design as part of Pakistan province tails livery introduced by PIA in 2006. Withdrawn from use in 2011. Aircraft parked at Karachi Airport. Registration AP-BAK removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register on January 10, 2013. Sale notice for the aircraft on "as is where is" basis appeared in February 10, 2013, newspaper. Notice given in March 31, 2013, newspaper for disposal of AP-BAK structure through open public auction at Karachi Airport on April 23, 2013. Scrapped at Karachi Airport, August 2013.
