Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). On February 2, 1966,
AP-AOC was operating a scheduled passenger flight when it
crashed near Faridpur, East Pakistan, after striking a
vulture in cruise flight. There were 4 crew members and 27
passengers aboard the helicopter. 23 people died in this
accident. Registration AP-AOC removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register
on March 4, 1966. |
