(PAF), March 1, 1955. PAF serial number S4432. Aircraft
registered in Pakistan as AP-AMF for Government of Pakistan,
August 1961.
Aircraft acquired by Trans Australia Airlines (TAA) in
August 1961 and registered in Australia as VH-TBB.
Registration AP-AMF removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register
on May 31, 1961. In
1961, the aircraft was named "William McGregor". In 1967, TAA
retired the aircraft from its routes. In 1968, the aircraft
was acquired by Mayne Nickless Interstate Parcel Express
Company (IPEC). On June 14, 1968, the aircraft was acquired
by Air Express. In 1976, the aircraft was acquired by Bain
and Brown Air Freighters. February 1977, the aircraft was
retired and put into storage at Essendon Airport, Victoria,
Australia. The aircraft was moved to Tullamarine Airport and
placed on the fire dump for fire fighting practice.
Australian registration VH-JIM was applied to the aircraft. |
