Aircraft sold to Hawker Siddeley Aviation Ltd., UK, on July
3, 1964. Retained by PIA on lease from July 3, 1964 to 1966. Registration AP-AJG removed from Pakistan Aircraft
Register on September 1, 1966. Aircraft to Hawker Siddeley
Aviation, 1966. Sold to Luxair. Registered in Luxembourg as
LX-LGC. Aircraft named "Prince Guillaume". On December 22,
1969, LX-LGC operating flight from Frankfurt, Germany,
landed on a slippery runway at Luxembourg-Findel Airport and
ran off, causing the nose gear to collapse and the aircraft
collided with a snow bank. The aircraft was damaged beyond
repair and broken up in May 1970. |
