Additional Remarks:   Construction number 2889. Registered in United Kingdom (UK) as G-AJYL, Auster Aircraft Limited, October 24, 1949. Aircraft sold abroad, April 11, 1951. Registered in UK as G-AJYL, Auster Aircraft Limited, June 13, 1951. Aircraft ownership changed, August 28, 1951. R. K. Dundas Limited, September 12, 1951. Aircraft sold to Pakistan, October 2, 1951. To Royal Pakistan Air Force (RPAF)? Registered in Pakistan as AP-AFI for Government of Sindh. Aircraft returned to RPAF. In May 1957, aircraft re-registered as AP-AJV apparently due to in aircraft's registration AP-AFI, letter/alphabet 'I' = 'India' in international Radio Telephony (RT) communication. Because of poor diplomatic relations between Pakistan and India at that time. Pakistani aircraft registrations containing letter/alphabet 'I' were re-registered and new registration issued to these aircraft did not include letter/alphabet 'I'. AP-AJV to Multan Flying Club, Multan. Government of East Pakistan, Dacca. Registration AP-AJV removed from Pakistan Aircraft Register on April 15, 1967.
