Government of Pakistan, June 29, 1949. On loan to Orient Airways. Transferred to Pakistan International
Airlines (PIA) on March 11, 1955. On May 15, 1958, AP-AEH
with six crew members and thirty two passengers was
operating PIA flight from Delhi (India) to Karachi
(Pakistan) when it crashed soon after night take-off from
Delhi Airport. Four crew members and seventeen passengers
died in this accident, two persons on the ground also died
due to this accident. Registration AP-AEH removed from
Pakistan Aircraft Register on August 6, 1958. |
