7, 1947. Converted to Lancaster XPP (Lancaster Mark X
Passenger Plane) specifications as
10-seater passenger or cargo/transport aircraft (Avro 691
Lancastrian 1). Registered in Canada as CF-CMX, for
Trans-Canada Air Lines (TCA). Flown by Canadian Government Trans-Atlantic
Air Service (CGTAS) for mail and VIP service. Seen at London-Heathrow
Airport, May 30, 1948. Sold to Skyways Limited which was an
airline based in UK and leased to OnzeAir based at Karachi. Registered
in Pakistan as AP-ACL for OnzeAir, 1948. Registration AP-ACL removed from Pakistan
Aircraft Register on December 3, 1948. Aircraft returned to
United Kingdom and scrapped later. |
